Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct topographical, pit, stockpile, and volumetric surveys.
- Set out pit boundaries, benches, ramps, and excavation limits.
- Measure ore and waste quantities and verify mining activities against approved designs.
- Provide survey data for mine planning and production reconciliation.
- Prepare survey plans, reports, and volume calculations.
- Monitor pit geometry and maintain accurate survey records.
Requirements:
- HND in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of mine-surveying experience.
- Proficiency in Total Stations, GNSS/GPS, and digital surveying equipment.
- Working knowledge of Surpac, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Deswik, or equivalent software.
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Professional licence where applicable. Drone/UAV surveying experience is an added advantage.
