Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough medical evaluations of patients
- Diagnosing illnesses and developing appropriate treatment plans
- Prescribing medications and monitoring patient progress
- Performing medical procedures as necessary
- Providing patient education and counseling on health issues
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MBBS/MBChB/MD) from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice in Nigeria
- Registered with MDCN
- Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills
- Surgical skills will be an added advantage
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
- Willingness to stay updated on advancements in the medical field through continuing education and professional development
- Must be computer literate. Experience with EMR systems is an added advantage.
