Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities:

• Installation and Assembly: Installing, assembling, and aligning mechanical systems, equipment, and components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Maintenance and Repair: Performing routine maintenance tasks and repairs on mechanical systems and machinery to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnosing mechanical problems, conducting tests and inspections to identify root causes, and implementing corrective actions to resolve issues.
• Machine Operation: Operating machinery and equipment, including CNC machines, lathes, mills, and grinders, to produce precision parts and components.
• Fabrication and Welding: Fabricating and welding metal components and structures using various techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding, to meet project requirements.
• Quality Control: Conducting inspections and quality checks on finished parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, or hazards related to mechanical work, and promoting a culture of safety awareness among team members.
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including installation, repairs, inspections, and testing, to support compliance and accountability.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborating with engineers, technicians, and other personnel to support project execution, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure the successful completion of tasks.
• Training and Support: Providing training and technical support to other team members or end-users on mechanical systems, equipment operation, and maintenance practices to enhance knowledge and proficiency.
