Mechanical Field Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design and Development: Developing conceptual designs, detailed engineering drawings, and specifications for mechanical systems, equipment, and components.
• Product Development: Leading or participating in the design and development of new products or improvements to existing products, including prototyping and testing.
• Analysis and Simulation: Conducting engineering analysis, simulations, and calculations to assess the performance, reliability, and safety of mechanical systems and components.
• Material Selection: Selecting appropriate materials for mechanical components based on performance requirements, cost considerations, and environmental factors.
• Manufacturing Support: Providing technical support to manufacturing teams, including assisting with process optimization, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring quality control.
• Project Management: Managing and coordinating mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Collaboration: Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical engineers, civil engineers, and project managers, to ensure integrated and efficient design solutions.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and codes in the design and implementation of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Testing and Validation: Planning and executing tests and validation procedures to verify the performance and reliability of mechanical systems and components.
• Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvement, innovation, and optimization in mechanical engineering practices to enhance product quality and efficiency.
