Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Design, inspect, maintain, and improve mechanical equipment and systems.
- Monitor machinery performance and identify potential faults.
- Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and recommend corrective actions.
- Support installation and commissioning of new machinery.
- Develop preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
- Ensure machines operate safely and efficiently.
- Prepare technical reports and maintenance records.
- Work closely with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards.
Requirements:
- HND in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Relevant professional experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and industrial equipment.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
