Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Massage Therapist located in Nigeria. The Massage Therapist will be responsible for providing a variety of massage therapy treatments to clients, including Swedish, deep tissue, or other specialized modalities as suited to client needs and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions in accordance with client needs and company protocols
- Assess clients' medical history, physical condition, and specific concerns to determine suitable massage techniques
- Offer different types of massage, such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Aromatherapy, Hot Stone, and Reflexology
- Maintain accurate client records, treatment notes, and progress documentation
- Educate clients on post-massage care, stretching, and relaxation techniques
- Uphold hygiene and sanitation standards in all treatment areas and tools
- Manage appointment schedules and ensure sessions start and end on time
- Promote additional treatments, memberships, or wellness products when appropriate
- Collaborate with other wellness professionals to support holistic care
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure a professional, welcoming client experience
Requirements:
- Certification or diploma in Massage Therapy from a recognized institution
- Valid massage therapy license/registration (as required by local regulations)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience (new graduates may be considered)
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Professional, reliable, and empathetic demeanor
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Physically fit and able to perform massage duties for extended periods
- Experience with spa software or appointment scheduling systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Training in additional modalities (e.g., prenatal, Thai, cupping, lymphatic drainage)
- Sales or client retention experience in a spa or wellness setting
*Location:* Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
*Working Hours:* 40 hours per week, 4-5 times a week
Salary:* #200,000 - #250,000
