Marketing Officer

Responsibilities:

• Identify and attract new individual and business customers.
• Mobilise deposits and support the growth of the Bank’s customer base.
• Convert prospects into active customers through effective follow-up.
• Develop and manage B2B relationships with businesses, associations, cooperatives and other organisations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Promote the Bank’s products and services to target markets.
• Work towards assigned marketing, deposit and customer-acquisition targets.
• Maintain accurate records of prospects, customer visits, conversions and follow-up activities.
• Prepare periodic marketing and business-development reports.
• Support customer retention and identify opportunities for cross-selling relevant Bank products.
• Carry out marketing activities in line with the Bank’s policies, procedures and ethical standards.

Requirements:

• HND or equivalent qualification in business administration, marketing, banking & finance, economics or a related discipline.
•  A minimum of  2–3 years’ relevant experience in marketing, sales, business development, banking, microfinance or financial services.
• Strong communication, persuasion and relationship-management skills.
• Good understanding of customer acquisition and deposit mobilisation.
• Ability to work with targets and demonstrate accountability for results.
• Good record-keeping and basic digital skills.
• Ability to work effectively within Kaduna and assigned market areas.
