Job Summary
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans, managing and overseeing many different activities including go-to-market launches, advertising, email campaigns, events, and social media. You will also build marketing programs and campaigns, and collaborate cross-functionally.

ResponsibilitiesÂ
PR and Corporate communications:
- Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about Baobab Plus and drive qualified traffic to our front door.Â
- Increase brand awareness and market share; deploy successful marketing campaigns and manage the implementation from invention to execution
- Experiment with a variety of old-fashioned and paid acquisition channels like content creation, social media for branding and advertising
- Research and analyze market trends and competitors.
- Produce valuable and engaging content for our Social media pages and blog that attracts and converts our target audience
- Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies, and vendors
- Oversee and approve marketing material, from roll-up banners to hard-copy brochures
- Overseeing the company’s attendance at events, such as trade shows, conferences, and get-togethers.
- Measure and track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and report on the performance of the same.
- Market activation and Roadshows
- Door to Door Campaign and Community storm

Leadership & Management:
- Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basic
- Allocate funds judiciously
- Negotiate purchases and monitor contracts with suppliers
- Prepare and present quarterly and annual reportsÂ
Requirements:Â
- BSc/MSc degree in Marketing or related fieldÂ
- At least 4 years of cognate experience in marketing
- Good analytical and presentation skills
- Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across-channels marketing campaigns that would engage, educate, and motivate
- Ability to work as a member of a team, yet make independent decisions
- Reliability and regularity
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best marketing practicesÂ
