Job Summary

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans, managing and overseeing many different activities including go-to-market launches, advertising, email campaigns, events, and social media. You will also build marketing programs and campaigns, and collaborate cross-functionally.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities 

PR and Corporate communications:

  • Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about Baobab Plus and drive qualified traffic to our front door. 
  • Increase brand awareness and market share; deploy successful marketing campaigns and manage the implementation from invention to execution
  • Experiment with a variety of old-fashioned and paid acquisition channels like content creation, social media for branding and advertising
  • Research and analyze market trends and competitors.
  • Produce valuable and engaging content for our Social media pages and blog that attracts and converts our target audience
  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies, and vendors
  • Oversee and approve marketing material, from roll-up banners to hard-copy brochures
  • Overseeing the company’s attendance at events, such as trade shows, conferences, and get-togethers.
  • Measure and track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and report on the performance of the same.
  • Market activation and Roadshows
  • Door to Door Campaign and Community storm
  • Website management.
  • Social media management/content management.
  • Data analysis 


Leadership & Management:

  • Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basic
  • Allocate funds judiciously
  • Negotiate purchases and monitor contracts with suppliers
  • Prepare and present quarterly and annual reports 


Requirements:
 

  • BSc/MSc degree in Marketing or related field 
  • At least 4 years of cognate experience in marketing
  • Good analytical and presentation skills
  • Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across-channels marketing campaigns that would engage, educate, and motivate
  • Ability to work as a member of a team, yet make independent decisions
  • Reliability and regularity
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best marketing practices
