Responsibilities:
- A 360° marketing & distribution strategy, live within your first 30 days
- Sales across Amazon, Selar, the client’s website, and other platforms
- Listing, keyword, category, pricing, and conversion optimisation
- Relationships with bookstores, distributors, universities, corporates, and event organisers
- Integrated campaigns across social, PR, influencers, webinars, email, and paid media
- Bulk sales, institutional partnerships, and corporate purchase agreements
- Performance tracking — sales, rankings, ROI — through dashboards
Requirements:
- 3+ years in marketing, e-commerce, publishing, or product growth
- A good first degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field is an advantage
- Hands-on with Amazon KDP, Selar, SEO, paid advertising, and retail distribution
- A commercial operator who can point to sales they personally drove — with numbers
- Self-directed and comfortable owning a target
Key Performance Indicators:
- Amazon bestseller ranking in target categories
- 100+ verified reviews within 6 months
- Presence in 50 bookstores within 12 months
- 20 institutional/corporate partnerships
- Minimum 4:1 marketing ROI
