Knowledge/skills required: (first proof project is 28 ft. Aluminum Sport Fisherman)
- General understanding of small boat systems and have handyman skills capable of installing well organized panel/fused wiring systems/ switches etc. , through hull fittings/valves /hoses and components, bilge/wash down pumps/plumbing, hatches, prep/application painting system, general component instillation to include small boat stern thruster, primary/secondary fuel system and filtering, secondary fly bridge control station, canopies, deck hardware, electric anchoring system, blowers, battery/switches/compartments, steering components, helm components, electronic components instillation, trim tabs, seating, stowage, horn/lights, down riggers, dive ladder, etc.
- Successful candidate, would have verifiable experience and abilities in small boat rehabilitation/repair involving above skills through proper performance of this type project. Ideally would have a degree in some discipline of engineering.
- Should individual successfully perform as required on this project, it could very well lead into a permanent position or opportunity to work on several emerging similar projects resulting in longer term rewarding employment.
