Maintenance Lead

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise all mechanical and electrical maintenance activities across the plant
  
• Develop and enforce preventive and planned maintenance schedules
  
• Ensure maximum uptime of extrusion presses, Melting furnaces, Compressors, cooling systems, and auxiliary equipment
  
• Diagnose and resolve breakdowns promptly with root-cause analysis
  
• Manage maintenance technicians and assign daily tasks effectively
  
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports
  
• Enforce safety standards, lock-out/tag-out procedures, and proper PPE use
  
• Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of equipment
  
• Work closely with Production and Operations teams to align priorities
  
• Identify spare parts requirements and support inventory planning
  
• Drive continuous improvement in maintenance processes and reliability

Requirements:

• HND or BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 4+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Proven experience leading or supervising maintenance teams
  
• Strong knowledge of: Mechanical systems, Electrical panels and controls, Motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics
  
• Experience in extrusion, foundry, FMCG, steel, or heavy manufacturing is an advantage
  
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
  
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  
• High level of discipline, accountability, and professionalism
