Reporting to the Production Manager, you will troubleshoot, repair and maintain heavy duty equipments in the factory.

Responsibilities

Manage all mechanical/electrical engineering activities and drive preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives Responsible for the efficient generation and maintenance utilities and plants (Generators, Boilers, Compressors) Ensure optimum stock of engineering spares and drive world class inventory procedures and operations Maintain Mixers, band product conveyors, Pumps and all production machines Manage all mechanical/electrical engineering activities and drive preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives Service and maintain the different types of gearboxes Provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production Ensures full implementation of applicable Health, Safety and Environmental Procedures in accordance with international safety & quality standards Ensure repairs and maintenance on site is delivered OTIF (On Time in Full) within scope, cost and schedule

Qualifications

B.Sc./HND/OND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Similar experience from a production company Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills with good reasoning ability. Ability to demonstrate a good understanding of packaging machines, compressors, generator, fryers, roasters etc. Excellent leadership and training skills and ability to work on your own and also work well with others. Thorough and attentive to detail. Good time management skills and physical coordination and dexterity
