Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, service, and repair construction equipment, including payloaders, concrete mixers, water drainage pumps, generators, and other site machinery.
- Carry out routine equipment inspections.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize operational delays.
- Fix mechanical, diesel, and engine-related faults.
- Replace worn or damaged parts and ensure all repairs meet safety and operational standards.
- Perform any other equipment maintenance and repair duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a mechanic or repair technician for construction or heavy-duty equipment.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve equipment faults efficiently.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices (optional).
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and respond promptly
- Relevant technical certification or vocational training is an added advantage.
