Logistics Assistant
Job summary
The Logistic/Admin Assistant will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day logistics activities, including inventory management, shipment tracking, and procurement support, while also handling administrative duties such as record keeping, correspondence, and office organization.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in restocking office and warehouse supplies to maintain smooth and efficient operations, including stationery, toiletries, printing materials, cleaning tools, and other essential consumables required for daily office administration.
- Assist in preparing budgets for administration, electricity, store replenishment, generator diesel consumption, and other operational needs, ensuring approved budgets are implemented and accurately filed.
- Assist in ensuring a steady supply of drinking water in the Eket Location (Fabrication yard and Marina Staff House)
- Assist in ensuring proper segregation of waste and timely evacuation by the External Vendor
- Assist in ensuring the yard is clean and tidy at all times
- Assist in coordinating hotel reservations for personnel from other locations and monitoring night stays to ensure accurate cost tracking
- Assist in monitoring electricity consumption to ensure smooth operations by tracking unit balance, initiating timely token recharge to avoid service interruption, and maintaining accurate usage records.
- Assist in compiling vehicle requests for planning purposes and consolidating trips to minimize unnecessary fuel consumption.
- Act as data steward for updating Logistics/Admin trackers, including light vehicle fault report logs, petrol and diesel records, generator diesel usage, Light & Heavy duty vehicle license renewal, hotel accommodation, and electricity usage tracking, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely updates Assist in raising expense claims, material transfers, maintenance requests, and facility access requests for budget items, utility cleaning tools, waste evacuation, and drinking water supply vendors.
- Assist in maintaining an organized filing system
- Assist in the preparation of Admin. & Logistics daily activity reports and monthly reports
Requirements:
- HND or B.SC Business Administration, or Social Sciences
- Minimum 1 year of experience
