Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor the transportation, storage, and distribution of goods.
  • Manage relationships with transport providers, suppliers, and third-party logistics partners.
  • Ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining quality and service standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with relevant departments to prevent stock shortages or overstocking.
  • Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch activities.
  • Analyze logistics performance metrics and prepare regular operational reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and transportation laws.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices across logistics operations.
  • Manage logistics budgets and control operational costs.
  • Lead, supervise, and develop logistics and warehouse teams.
  • Resolve delivery issues, transportation delays, and customer service concerns related to logistics.
  • Coordinate with procurement, production, sales, and customer service teams to support business objectives.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse management, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, fleet operations, and distribution processes.
  • Experience using ERP, WMS, or logistics management systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
