Logistics and Inventory Officer

Responsibilities:

• To prevent stockouts, overstocking, losses, and logistics issues by building and managing a smooth, reliable inventory and logistics system that supports sales growth.
• Ability to keep adequate records of inventory with every logistics partner and ensure physical stock matches system records
• Provide daily and monthly stock updates across WhatsApp groups with logistics partners in Nigeria.
• Conduct inventory and stock forecasting to ensure adequate stock availability with our logistics partners.
• Pick up/receive stock from suppliers, coordinate waybills to various states, and ensure stock is received in good condition.
• Conduct weekly performance analysis for all logistics partners
• Ability to hire & fire logistics partners
• Identify fast-moving, slow-moving, and dead states and report insights to management

Requirements:

• Entry-level experience in inventory & logistics management 
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to think ahead and notice issues early
• Reliable, proactive, and has a strong work ethic
• Proficiency in coordinating communications with logistics partners. 
• Extremely analytical, detail-oriented, and organized
• Strong record-keeping and documentation skills
• Basic data analysis skills to understand stock movement and trends
• Passionate about home safety and improving people’s lives.

Compensation:

• Remuneration: NGN 100,000
• Transport & Snacks allowance (On waybill days) - NGN 10,000
• Airtime/data allowance - NGN 20,000 monthly
