Situated within Grooves Events Centre, our restaurant offers a diverse culinary experience, featuring a blend of local and international cuisines. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee the culinary operations. The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, inventory management, and staff supervision. The ideal candidate will have strong arithmetic computation skills, accounting and book-keeping abilities, proficiency in preparing local dishes, and excellent communication skills.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and high-quality food production.
- Manage collaboration and service delivery with other sub-departments of Grooves Events Centre.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and kitchen supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of food inventory, sales, and expenses, and prepare reports as required.
- Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with the executive chef to create innovative menus, dishes, and ideas.
- Oversee kitchen equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Undertake related duties as required by the General Manager for Grooves Events Centre.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality establishment.
- Strong leadership, communication skills, and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff.
- Strong proficiency in arithmetic computations and basic accounting skills.
- Excellent knowledge of local and international culinary techniques, food safety standards and standard regulations, and kitchen management.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Paying attention to details.
Location: Must reside in or around Ota, Ogun State.
