Junior Architect

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing architectural designs, drawings, and specifications under the guidance of senior architects.
• Collaborate with project teams to conduct site visits, surveys, and research.
• Prepare and present design proposals using 2D and 3D modeling software.
• Assist in producing construction documents and detailed drawings.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met.
• Participate in meetings with clients to understand project objectives and provide design solutions.
• Support project managers in monitoring project progress and adhering to timelines.
• Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and regulations to ensure compliance in design projects.
• Contribute creative ideas and innovative solutions to enhance project outcomes.
• Assist in reviewing project specifications, contracts, and cost estimates.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of BSc/HND  in architecture or a related field.
• 1 - 2 years' previous experience or internships in an architectural firm or related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar design software.
• Strong understanding of architectural principles, building materials, and construction techniques.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges, with a proactive and positive attitude.
