IT Project Manager - Vendor Risk and Compliance

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of Risk Analysts, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to achieve project goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business needs and regulatory requirements.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to facilitate the successful execution of Vendor Risk and compliance initiatives.
• Conduct risk assessments and gap analyses to identify areas of non-compliance, and define systems and key Controls.
• Develop and implement Risk control frameworks and testing methodologies to ensure the effectiveness of compliance.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
• Coordinate and facilitate regular project status meetings, providing updates to key stakeholders and resolving any project-related issues or conflicts.
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, while maintaining sufficient Risk-
• based knowledge, and awareness of emerging trends to meet the compliance requirements.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and assessments of team members, providing constructive feedback and identifying opportunities for skills development and improvement.
• Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, standards, and best practices, including documentation and reporting requirements.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the project team, encouraging knowledge sharing and professional growth.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• A Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is required.
• Minimum of at least 6 years of experience in Vendor or Third-Party management, with a focus on Risk and Compliance.
• Proven experience managing compliance initiatives.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project objectives.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or Asana.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a demonstrated track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to closure.
  

Tools and Technologies:

• Microsoft Office, SAP, Linux, Windows Servers, Active Directory, ASI and Mainframe.
• Audit Management Software (e.g., TeamMate, ACL, etc.)
• Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Software (e.g., RSA Archer, MetricStream, etc.)
• IT Audit Tools (e.g., IDEA, ACL, etc.)
• Document Management Systems (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, etc..
