IT Officer

About This Role
MartGlobal Limited—a Lagos-based industrial manufacturing company specializing in high-quality packaging polythene products—is recruiting an IT Officer for its production facility and administrative office in Iyana-Ipaja, Lagos State. This technical infrastructure role is responsible for end-to-end IT support, maintaining local network hardware (LAN/WAN, switches, routers), resolving hardware/software issues for staff, managing CCTV systems, and ensuring system uptime across both office and factory operations.
Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure & Network Administration: Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN networks, Wi-Fi routers, switches, servers, and workplace computer hardware across office and production floors.
• Technical Support & Systems Maintenance: Serve as the primary point of contact for staff desktop support, troubleshooting Windows OS issues, software errors, printers, and peripheral hardware.
• CCTV & Security Systems Support: Monitor, maintain, and assist with the playback, configuration, and hardware troubleshooting of facility CCTV cameras and access controls.
• Data Security & Inventory Management: Maintain IT asset registers, oversee data backups, enforce internal cybersecurity protocols, and minimize system downtime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  

Requirements & Qualifications

• Academic Background: Degree (B.Sc. / HND) or Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Technical Mastery: Practical knowledge of network architecture (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi), hardware diagnostics, Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and CCTV surveillance setups.
• Core Competencies: Technical problem-solving, rapid incident response, clear communication, and self-directed operational support.
