We are seeking an experienced Intellectual Property (IP) Lawyer with at least 3+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IP law, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. Additionally, experience with technology agreements, API access agreements, IP protection, and SOW contracts is essential. Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice on all aspects of intellectual property law.
- Conduct thorough IP due diligence and risk assessments.
- Draft, review, and negotiate IP-related agreements, including licensing, confidentiality, technology, and API access agreements.
- Experience with IP litigation and the IPR process.
- Demonstrated understanding of the international legal IP landscape and laws to counsel European business locations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate Statements of Work (SOW) and manage related contractual obligations.
- Ensure IP protection through proactive legal strategies and compliance measures.
- Manage IP portfolios, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
- Stay current with developments in IP law and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to grasp important business and legal issues.
- Collaborate with clients and third parties to develop effective IP strategies aligned with their business goals.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in intellectual property law.
- Proven track record of handling IP matters, including litigation and portfolio management.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to providing high-quality legal services.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
