Inventory Officer
Job summary
We are currently seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Inventory Officer at our facility in Awka, Anambra State. The Inventory Officer will be responsible for overseeing and managing inventory levels to ensure accuracy and efficiency in our operations.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including stock counts, movements, and adjustments.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams for timely inventory receipt and storage.
- Handle inventory issuance and returns, resolving any discrepancies.
- Generate reports on inventory status, stock movements, and variances for management review.
- Implement and uphold inventory control procedures to minimize losses.
- Generate reports on inventory status and collaborate with departments for future stock needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND certification in any related field
- 1 year of inventory management experience.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports to support decision-making.
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and learn new systems or processes
