Job summary
The Engineering Intern supports workshop operations while gaining hands-on experience in vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repair. The intern will work under supervision to learn practical automotive engineering skills, workshop procedures, and professional work ethics.

Responsibilities:
Technical Support & Learning
- Assist technicians in vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
- Support routine servicing (oil change, brake service, tyre checks, etc.).
- Learn how to use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
- Observe and understand fault detection and repair processes.
Workshop Assistance
- Help in preparing tools and equipment for daily tasks.
- Assist in lifting, moving, and organizing parts and materials.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the workshop.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of tools after use.
Job Documentation & Process
- Assist in recording basic job details and service activities.
- Learn how job cards are opened, processed, and closed.
- Follow instructions strictly from supervisors and senior technicians.
- Support inventory tracking of parts used during repairs (where required).
Health, Safety & Discipline
- Follow all safety rules and use protective equipment where required.
- Maintain punctuality, discipline, and a strong work ethic.
- Avoid misuse of tools, equipment, or materials.
- Report any issues, damages, or unsafe conditions immediately.
Requirements:
- No experience needed
- Minimum of an SSCE
