Interior Designer (Intern)

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of design concepts and mood boards under the guidance of senior designers.
• Contribute to space planning, furniture layout, and material selection for residential and commercial projects.
• Assist with drafting floor plans, elevations, and detailed drawings using AutoCAD and other design software.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations, presenting design ideas and concepts as needed.
• Support the project team in sourcing materials, furnishings, and accessories from vendors and suppliers.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including design presentations, specifications, and procurement schedules.
• Provide general administrative support to the design team, including organizing samples, maintaining project files, and other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Recent graduate / NYSC Corper of a Bachelor's degree program in Interior Design or related field.
• Strong passion for interior design and a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and other design software is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to commit to a minimum of [3 days per week] for the duration of the internship period of 2 months.
