The Intern Content Editor & Publisher supports the editorial team by editing, verifying, structuring, and publishing draft articles supplied through internal content research and scraping tools.

Responsibilities:
- Edit draft articles received from internal research and scraping tools
- Improve readability, grammar, tone, and clarity
- Apply proper article structure using headings (H1–H4), bullet points, tables, and short paragraphs
- Accuracy & Fact-Checking
- Verify factual claims, dates, figures, procedures, and requirements
- Cross-check information against official and reputable sources
- Update outdated or incorrect information before publication
- Flag unclear, misleading, or unverifiable content for review
- Add outbound links or footnotes to credible and authoritative sources (e.g. government bodies, regulators, universities, recognised institutions)
- Ensure citations are relevant, accurate, and properly placed
- Avoid low-quality, promotional, or unreliable sources
- Apply basic SEO best practices, including:
- Proper heading hierarchy
- Internal linking to relevant pages
- Optimised formatting for readability
- Upload, format, and publish content via the CMS (e.g., WordPress)
- Ensure correct categories, tags, and URLs are applied
- Conduct final reviews before content goes live
- Ensure articles meet editorial, compliance, and platform guidelines
- Check formatting across desktop and mobile views
- Maintain consistency across multiple websites or content hubs
- Work closely with Content Managers, SEO teams, and researchers
- Receive feedback and implement editorial revisions
- Learn content publishing workflows, SEO fundamentals, and editorial standards
- Maintain a log of published articles and completed tasks
Requirements:
Essential:
- Strong written English and grammar skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow structured editorial guidelines
- Basic understanding of online content and websites
- Willingness to fact-check and verify information independently
- Comfortable working with AI-generated or scraped content
Desirable (Not Mandatory):
