Interior Technical Designer

Responsibilities:

• Translate approved designs into coordinated interior plans, elevations, sections, schedules and construction details.
• Produce shop drawings for cabinetry, wardrobes, kitchens, bespoke furniture, woodwork, wall cladding and paneling.
• Clearly document dimensions, materials, finishes, hardware, fixing methods, joints and installation clearances.
• Incorporate verified site measurements and coordinate details with appliances, electrical, plumbing and other relevant services.
• Identify missing information and construction conflicts, working with designers, fabricators and installers to resolve them.
• Check drawing accuracy, implement review comments, maintain organized revisions and meet agreed deadlines.

Requirements:

• An educational or professional background in architecture or interior design.
• Strong practical proficiency in Revit, with the ability to produce technical documentation independently.
• Previous employment with an interior design, fit-out, joinery, cabinetry or furniture company.
• Demonstrated experience preparing interior technical drawings and shop drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization and communication.
• Ability to work independently, check your own work and respond thoroughly to feedback.
• Ability to learn and grow within the organization.

Training and Expectations: We will provide guidance on our drawing standards, project requirements, and specific detailing methods. However, applicants must already possess the core Revit and technical drawing skills required for the role. Introductory software training will not be provided.
