Job Summary

The Marketer will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives to promote and sell insurance products and services related to special risk coverage which includes Aviation & Oil and Gas. understanding of the special risk market, including niche industries, high-risk activities, and unique coverage requirements.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in specialized industries, understanding their unique risk profiles and insurance requirements.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on suitable insurance products and coverage options for their specific risk exposures.


Sales and Marketing:

  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to promote special risk insurance products and services, targeting relevant industries and client segments.
  • Generate leads and identify new business opportunities in the special risk market through networking, prospecting, and referrals.


Product Development and Customization:

  • Collaborate with underwriters and product development teams to design innovative insurance solutions tailored to special risk segments.
  • Assess and customize existing insurance products to meet the unique needs of clients operating in high-risk industries or engaging in specialized activities.


Client Servicing, Relationship Management:

  • Provide ongoing support and service to clients, addressing inquiries, policy renewals, claims processing, and any other insurance-related issues.
  • Foster long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance, or a related field
  • 5 years experience in insurance marketing. A focus on special risk coverage(Aviation & Oil and Gas) is a plus.
  • Proficient knowledge of special risk insurance products, including niche industries, high-risk activities, and coverage requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess risk profiles and develop customized insurance solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute marketing and sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant marketing tools.
  • Relevant insurance certifications (e.g., Associate of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria) is highly desirable.
