Human Resources Officer
Job summary
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Officer on behalf of our client, to manage HR operations, payroll, statutory compliance, employee relations, and industrial relations within the manufacturing facility. Candidates with manufacturing experience are strongly preferred.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage HR operations, employee records, onboarding, and exits.
- Coordinate payroll and ensure statutory compliance (PAYE, PENCOM, NSITF, ITF, NHF).
- Liaise with government agencies and regulatory bodies.
- Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters, and union activities.
- Support expatriate documentation and compliance.
- Prepare HR reports and maintain accurate personnel records.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an HND in HR, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years' HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of payroll, Nigerian Labour Law, statutory compliance, and industrial relations.
- Experience in plastic, packaging, sack manufacturing, or FMCG is an added advantage.
- CIPM certification is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HR systems.
- A male candidate is preferred

Remuneration: NGN 200,000 – 300,000
