Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Advise Management on workforce planning, organizational development, and employee matters.
- Develop and monitor HR KPIs, metrics, and reports to support decision-making.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding.
- Build talent pipelines and ensure timely recruitment of quality candidates.
- Support succession planning and workforce planning initiatives.
- Drive the Company's performance management system, including KPI development, appraisals, and improvement plans.
- Identify training needs and coordinate employee learning and development initiatives.
- Manage employee relations, disciplinary matters, conflict resolution, and engagement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain HR policies, employee records, and HR documentation.
- Oversee compensation administration, leave management, payroll coordination, and HR administration.
- Lead and develop the HR team while promoting a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- Drive HR process improvements and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification (CIPM, CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent) is required.
- Minimum of 7 years' HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in the automobile, manufacturing, or engineering industry is an added advantage.
Location: Benin City, Edo State
Remuneration: NGN 800,000 Monthly
