HR/Admin Officer
Job summary
The HR/Admin Officer is responsible for supporting the organization's human resources and administrative functions. The role involves assisting with recruitment, employee records, onboarding, attendance, staff welfare, office administration, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in compliance with company policies and employment regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Support the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and personnel files.
- Prepare employment letters, HR documents, reports, and other official correspondence.
- Monitor staff attendance, leave, lateness, and other employee-related records.
- Assist with payroll preparation and provide relevant employee information when required.
- Support employee onboarding, orientation, training, and exit processes.
- Handle staff inquiries and assist with HR policies and administrative matters.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, HR procedures, and applicable labour regulations.
- Coordinate office supplies, equipment, maintenance, and general administrative activities.
- Manage office documentation, filing, correspondence, and record-keeping.
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and other internal activities where required.
- Assist in organizing staff meetings, training sessions, and company events.
- Support performance management, staff welfare, and employee engagement activities.
- Prepare periodic HR and administrative reports for management.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information at all times.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR, administration, or a similar role.
- Good knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, and administrative procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws is an added advantage.
- CIPM, SHRM, or other relevant HR certification is an added advantage.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
