HR Executive
Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven HR Executive to oversee end-to-end human resource operations for our manufacturing plant in Asaba. The successful candidate will manage recruitment, employee relations, payroll administration, compliance, performance management, and workforce planning for over 200 employees across multiple shifts.

Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Workforce Planning:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for plant and operational roles.
- Partner with department heads to develop manpower plans aligned with production targets.
- Coordinate onboarding, probation, confirmation, and employee documentation.
Employee Relations & Compliance:
- Manage employee grievances, disciplinary processes, absenteeism, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with the Nigerian Labour Act, Factory Act, NSITF, ITF, Pension, HMO, and other statutory regulations
- Build and maintain productive relationships with union representatives and contract staff.
Payroll & Benefits Administration:
- Validate monthly payroll inputs, including attendance, overtime, deductions, and employee movements.
- Oversee statutory remittances and support internal and external audits.
- Administer employee benefits, leave management, HMO, and PPE issuance.
Performance Management & Learning:
- Coordinate annual performance appraisals and Personal Development Plans (PDPs).
- Organise safety trainings, toolbox meetings, employee engagement initiatives, and learning programs.
HR Reporting & Records Management:
- Prepare monthly HR reports covering headcount, turnover, absenteeism, overtime costs, and other key HR metrics.
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready personnel records and HRMS data.
Requirements;
- Minimum of an HND in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Professional HR certification (CIPM/ACIPM) is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing or plant environment.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and factory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, HRMS, and HR analytics.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High emotional intelligence with the flexibility to work shift-based schedules when required.
Remuneration: NGN 200,000 - 250,000 Gross
