Heidelberg Speedmaster CD 102 SLX1 Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate the Heidelberg Speedmaster CD 102 SLX1 efficiently and safely.
• Set up the machine according to job specifications and production requirements.
• Monitor printing operations and ensure consistent print quality.
• Perform colour matching, registration, and other necessary adjustments during production.
• Conduct routine checks and basic troubleshooting to minimise machine downtime.
• Ensure proper handling and feeding of printing materials.
• Maintain accurate production records and report machine faults promptly.
• Carry out routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance of the machine.
• Work closely with the Production, Quality Control, and Maintenance teams.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and production procedures.
• Meet daily production targets while maintaining required quality standards.
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience operating a Heidelberg Speedmaster CD 102 or similar offset printing press.
• Strong knowledge of offset printing processes and machine setup.
• Ability to troubleshoot common machine and printing issues.
• Good understanding of colour management, registration, ink settings, and print quality control.
• Experience working in a manufacturing, packaging, or commercial printing environment is highly desirable.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
• Relevant technical qualification or certification is an added advantage.
• Only candidates with relevant experience operating the Heidelberg Speedmaster CD 102 SLX1 or similar printing press will be considered.
