Health and Safety Officer
Job summary
We are seeking a qualified and responsible health and safety officer to ensure a safe working environment for employees and visitors. The successful candidate will monitor workplace safety, implement safety policies, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular workplace safety inspections
- Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Investigate accidents and prepare reports
- Train staff on safety procedures and emergency response
Requirements:
- Minimum of HND in environmental health, public health, microbiology, or a related field
- At least 1–2 years’ experience in health and safety (preferred)
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety practices
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Professional certification (HSE Level 1–3) is an advantage
