The head teacher is responsible for providing strategic leadership and effective management of the school. They ensure high standards of teaching, learning, student achievement, staff performance, and the overall well-being of the school community while ensuring compliance with educational policies and regulations.

Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
- Provide vision, direction, and leadership to achieve the school's mission and objectives.
- Develop and implement the school's strategic and annual improvement plans.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
- Promote teamwork, professionalism, and ethical conduct among staff.
Academic Leadership:
- Supervise teaching and learning to ensure high educational standards.
- Monitor curriculum implementation and assessment practices.
- Support teachers through mentoring, coaching, and professional development.
- Analyze student performance data and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
Staff Management:
- Recruit, supervise, appraise, and support teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Allocate duties and monitor staff attendance and performance.
- Organize staff meetings and professional development programs.
- Address staff welfare issues and promote a positive work culture.
Student Welfare and Discipline:
- Ensure students receive quality education in a safe and supportive environment.
- Implement and enforce school rules, policies, and disciplinary procedures.
- Promote student attendance, well-being, and personal development.
- Handle student disciplinary matters fairly and consistently.
Financial and Resource Management:
- Prepare and manage the school's budget.
- Ensure effective use and accountability of school resources.
- Oversee procurement, maintenance, and security of school facilities and equipment.
- Seek opportunities for resource mobilization and school development.
Parent and Community Relations:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, guardians, and the community.
- Communicate school policies, achievements, and challenges effectively.
- Represent the school in meetings, community events, and official functions.
- Encourage parental involvement in students' education.
Compliance and Administration:
- Ensure compliance with government education policies, regulations, and standards.
- Maintain accurate school records and prepare required reports.
- Ensure health, safety, and child protection policies are effectively implemented.
- Coordinate inspections, audits, and accreditation processes where applicable.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience.
- A minimum of a degree in a related field.
Location: Ibadan
Remuneration: NGN 150,000 Monthly
