Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Produce monthly management accounts, budgets, and cashflow forecasts
- Build receivables + arrears reporting for UnionBell portfolio
- Track write-offs/provisions and unit economics (per cohort/market)
- Set approval workflows and controls (segregation of duties)
- Manage vendor payments, payroll coordination, and compliance reporting support
- Support audits and partner reporting
Requirements:
- 5-6 years of finance/accounting experience; lending/fintech strongly preferred
- BSc/HND in Accounting/Finance or related discipline.
- ICAN or ACCA (qualified or in advanced stage strongly preferred)
- Strong controls mindset (approval flow, audit trails, documentation)
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (models, dashboards, pivots)
- Ability to work with ops teams and translate data into decisions
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience managing loan books/receivables reporting
- Audit experience and familiarity with regulated environments
