Job summary
To develop and manage the company’s commercial strategy by overseeing sales support/operations, pricing, contracts, customer relationships, new business and product innovation, marketing, and revenue optimization to ensure sustainable growth and profitability. This role oversees Sales, Marketing, business development & Sales operations.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company goals. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities. Identify new business opportunities and revenue streams.
- Set adequate product prices, support sales teams’ quotations, and bid proposals. Ensure pricing structures protect margins while remaining competitive. Monitor sales performance and revenue targets.
- Oversee preparation, review, and management of commercial contracts. Lead or support negotiations with customers, distributors, and partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Resolve commercial disputes related to pricing, delivery terms, or payments.
- Monitor the profitability of products, projects, and contracts. Work closely with Finance to manage credit terms, invoicing, and collections.
- Liaise with Production, Procurement, and Finance teams for timely and cohesive work delivery. Coordinate delivery schedules and customer requirements.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate commercial and sales support staff. Foster a results-driven and customer-focused culture.
Requirements:
- A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Membership in recognized professional bodies related to management, engineering, or marketing.
- Extensive experience in developing and implementing commercial strategies, sales operations, revenue management, and contract negotiation, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial sector.
- Significant background in setting product prices, managing revenue targets, and ensuring pricing structures protect margins.
- Proven track record of leading and mentoring commercial and sales support staff.
- Expertise in leading high-stakes negotiations with distributors, partners, and key clients.
- Proficiency in sales forecasting and revenue management.
- Strong capability in building stakeholder relationships and resolving complex commercial disputes.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of compliance, ethical conduct, and proper documentation.
