Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
Business Development & Client Acquisition:
- Identify, prospect, and acquire businesses that can benefit from the platform.
- Generate qualified leads through LinkedIn, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, cold outreach, referrals, networking events, business directories, and industry communities.
- Research companies and identify key decision-makers for outreach.
- Conduct discovery meetings, product demonstrations, and partnership presentations.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close partnership agreements.
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline from lead generation to conversion.
- Maintain long-term relationships with clients to encourage retention, repeat business, and referrals.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns that generate qualified business leads.
Creator Acquisition & Community Growth:
- Identify, recruit, vet, and onboard high-quality content creators across different niches.
- Proactively source creators on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
- Build relationships with creator communities, agencies, universities, and talent networks.
- Execute creator outreach campaigns through social media, email, WhatsApp, and community groups.
- Evaluate creators based on content quality, engagement, professionalism, audience relevance, and brand suitability.
- Guide creators through onboarding and ensure successful activation on the platform.
- Develop initiatives that improve creator engagement, retention, and referrals.
Strategic Partnerships:
- Identify and establish partnerships with brands, agencies, communities, educational institutions, accelerators, and ecosystem partners.
- Build mutually beneficial relationships that increase platform awareness and drive growth.
- Represent the company at networking events, conferences, exhibitions, and industry meetups.
- Identify partnership opportunities that generate long-term value for the business.
Growth Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute strategies that accelerate business and creator acquisition.
- Research market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Recommend innovative growth initiatives backed by data and market insights.
- Test, measure, and optimize outreach campaigns to improve conversion rates.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to improve customer acquisition and user experience.
Pipeline Management & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of all leads, partnerships, and outreach activities using CRM software.
- Track the entire sales funnel from prospecting to conversion.
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports highlighting KPIs, pipeline health, and growth opportunities.
- Present insights and recommendations to leadership.
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days):
Within your first three months, you will be expected to:
- Build a strong pipeline of qualified business prospects.
- Successfully onboard businesses and active creators.
- Establish structured outreach and follow-up processes.
- Secure strategic partnerships that expand platform visibility.
- Consistently achieve agreed weekly and monthly acquisition targets.
- Deliver accurate performance reports with actionable recommendations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory with relevant experience).
- 2–4+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Partnerships, Account Management, Growth Marketing, or a similar role.
- Demonstrated success in prospecting, negotiating, and closing business opportunities.
- Excellent communication, networking, and presentation skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and relationship-building ability.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Highly organized with excellent time management and follow-through.

Remuneration: NGN 250,000
