Job summary

This is a full-commission, remote-first role for a Group Business Development Manager based in Lagos. The individual will own all inbound and outbound revenue relationships across every brand under the House of Aetheris conglomerate, from Miss Aetheris sponsorship to licensing and partnership deals for all other subsidiaries.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and pitch corporate sponsors, brand partners, distributors, and licensing candidates across all House of Aetheris entities
  • Own the full sales pipeline from first contact to signed agreement
  • Maintain a live CRM tracker with pipeline status, contact notes, and deal value
  • Represent the House of Aetheris at industry events, networking functions, and pitch meetings
  • Collaborate with legal counsel on contract review and deal structuring
  • Report directly to the Founding Director with weekly pipeline updates
  • Identify new revenue opportunities across brands and bring them to the Founding Director for strategic sign-off


Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years in B2B sales, corporate partnerships, brand sponsorships, or business development
  • Existing network of corporate decision-makers in Lagos and ideally beyond
  • Proven track record of closing deals, not just generating leads
  • Comfortable working on a commission-only structure with a start-up
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Highly self-directed; sets own meetings, manages own pipeline, delivers without hand-holding
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and pipeline management
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to represent a premium brand with credibility and precision
  • Experience working across multiple brands or product lines simultaneously is an advantage
  • Experience in licensing, franchising, or brand distribution
  • Existing relationships with Nigerian bank CSR or brand partnership teams
  • Familiarity with the creative, fashion, or cultural industries
