Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist in monitoring daily pit production activities.
- Support drilling, blasting, loading, hauling, and stockpile operations.
- Observe equipment performance and report operational issues.
- Assist in collecting production data and preparing daily operational reports.
- Participate in routine pit inspections and safety audits.
- Ensure compliance with company Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within mining operations.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Pit Supervisor.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline.
- Completed NYSC.
- Strong interest in mining and quarry operations.
- Willingness to work outdoors and on rotational shifts where applicable.
- Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of mining equipment and operations is an advantage.
