We are looking for a
GCP Specialist / Engineer to deploy, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure and services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate should have at least 4+ years of hands-on experience working with GCP environments, strong troubleshooting skills, and a solid understanding of cloud best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and manage GCP resources and services
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies
- Support cloud migration and infrastructure upgrades
- Automate deployments using scripting and Infrastructure as Code tools
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams on releases and integrations
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues
- Maintain clear technical documentation and system diagrams
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience with Google Cloud Platform
- Strong knowledge of GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Cloud SQL, GKE, Cloud Functions, etc.)
- Experience with Terraform or Deployment Manager
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages
- Understanding of networking, identity management, and cloud security principles
- Experience with monitoring/logging tools and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
