About the Role

UCM Global is building a preferred roster of talented freelance Graphic Designers who can support our businesses on an ongoing project basis.

This is not a full-time position. Designers will be assigned projects based on business requirements, availability, creative alignment, and performance.

You will have the opportunity to create high-visibility design work across:

• A UK-based education recruitment company
• Founder and CEO personal brand content

We are looking for reliable designers who can consistently interpret briefs, maintain strong brand standards, respond professionally to feedback, and deliver polished work within agreed timelines.

What You May Be Responsible For

Depending on your experience and the project requirements, assignments may include:

• Creating engaging YouTube thumbnails
• Designing social media graphics and campaign assets
• Developing branding, logos, and visual identity materials
• Producing digital and print marketing materials
• Creating website graphics and banners
• Designing professional presentations and pitch decks
• Formatting branded PDFs, reports, guides, and documents
• Adapting existing designs across different platforms and formats
• Maintaining visual consistency across multiple brands

What We’re Looking For

• A strong and varied graphic design portfolio
• Demonstrated experience producing digital and branded content
• Strong understanding of layout, typography, colour, composition, and visual hierarchy
• Ability to understand and follow creative briefs
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to apply feedback accurately and professionally
• Reliable communication and realistic turnaround times
• Confidence working independently in a remote environment
• Strong English comprehension and communication
• Long-term interest in receiving recurring freelance projects
• Availability to communicate promptly and reliably during UK working hours when assigned to an active project

Creative Assessment

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a practical creative assessment based on one of our brands.

You will be asked to submit:

• A brief explanation of your creative decisions
• The amount of time taken to complete the task

Submissions will be reviewed based on:

• Creativity
• Overall visual quality
• Understanding of the brief
• Attention to detail
• Branding consistency
• Clickability, where relevant
• Overall suitability for future projects
