Role: Freelance Accessories Designer (Project-Based)

Anko is looking for a freelance accessories designer to collaborate with the brand on a project basis. We are seeking a creative with a strong design perspective and a deep understanding of luxury accessories, modern elegance, and timeless design.

This role is open to designers worldwide.

Scope of Work

The selected designer will be responsible for developing a cohesive accessories collection aligned with Anko’s aesthetic; sophisticated, architectural, refined, and effortlessly elegant.

The collection may include handbags, footwear, jewellery, and other accessories that complement the Anko woman and extend the brand’s design language beyond apparel.

Key Responsibilities

* Conceptualize and develop original accessories designs aligned with the Anko brand identity

* Create a cohesive collection with a clear creative direction and strong commercial appeal

* Design handbags, footwear, jewellery, and other accessories as required

* Produce detailed design sketches and technical drawings

* Develop moodboards and visual references to support the collection concept

* Suggest suitable materials, finishes, hardware, and construction details

* Collaborate with the Anko team to refine and finalize concepts

* (Preferred) Develop basic tech packs and specification sheets for production reference

Deliverables

* A fully developed accessories collection based on the agreed brief

* Design sketches and technical drawings for all pieces

* Moodboard and creative direction presentation

* Material, hardware, and finish recommendations

* Tech packs and specification sheets where applicable

Project Timeline

Estimated turnaround time: 2–4 weeks from project commencement.

Requirements

* Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in accessories design

* Experience designing handbags, footwear, jewellery, or luxury accessories

* Understanding of materials, hardware, construction techniques, and manufacturing processes

* Ability to work within an established brand aesthetic

* Strong communication and ability to meet deadlines

* Previous experience in contemporary or luxury fashion is preferred

Engagement Type

This is a freelance contractual role on a per-project basis. Designers may be considered for future collaborations based on alignment and performance.

Ownership

All final designs and materials created under this project will remain the intellectual property of Anko.
