The Fixed Equipment Strategy Specialist will oversee the integrity, reliability, and maintenance strategy for all facility-wide fixed assets. This role is critical to ensuring operational excellence and safety compliance by leading complex engineering initiatives and optimizing equipment lifecycles within our on-site facility.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive fixed equipment maintenance strategies, covering preventive, routine, and emergency repair services to ensure maximum asset uptime.
- Provide expert materials engineering support and technical oversight to ensure all maintenance activities align with international design standards, codes, and safety criteria.
- Lead and mentor technical teams, fostering a culture of coordination and high performance to optimize departmental efficiency.
- Manage the facility-wide fixed equipment portfolio, ensuring that all maintenance and repair tasks are documented and performed according to established engineering specifications.
- Coordinate closely with cross-functional departments to resolve complex maintenance challenges while maintaining a consistent focus on safety and regulatory compliance.
- Communicate technical status reports, maintenance strategy updates, and project progress to stakeholders using fluent professional English.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 6-10 years of professional experience in fixed equipment maintenance, materials engineering, or asset integrity management within the oil and gas industry.
- In-depth knowledge of discipline-specific design standards, industry codes, and safety regulations relevant to fixed equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and manage heavy workloads with frequently shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly for data analysis, reporting, and maintenance planning documentation.
- Must be available to work on an onsite basis in Nigeria with no travel requirements attached to the position.
