  • Conduct regular reconciliation between the physical inventory counts (vehicles, generators, solar/inverter equipment, and workshop spare parts) and the digital records in the system.
  • Manage the monthly processing of the company payroll, ensuring the precise calculation, deduction, and remittance of employee taxes (PAYE) and pensions.
  • Serve as the financial gatekeeper to ensure that "whatever comes in is documented," verifying that all customer payments map directly to a valid system invoice or sales receipt.
  • Maintain an orderly, bulletproof digital and physical filing system for all import declarations, customs clearance papers, and supplier receipts to establish a clear audit trail.
  • Assist in preparing the annual schedules, provisions, and computations for Corporate Income Tax and Education Tax filings.

Requirements:

  • Strong capability in utilizing VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, SumIfs, and data cleaning techniques for matching massive volumes of transaction data.
  • Direct experience navigating and filing returns on national/local electronic tax administration portals.
  • Understanding of landed cost calculations, double-entry bookkeeping, and inventory valuation rules (FIFO/Weighted Average) for high-value machinery and parts.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a strictly business-related field.
  • Must be a chartered member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) or possess an equivalent recognized professional qualification (e.g., ACCA).
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of solid experience working as an Accountant or Account Officer handling payroll, reconciliations, and regulatory filings.

Benefits:

  • A salary package that recognizes your expertise, along with performance-driven incentives.
  • The opportunity to work with a highly reputable, market-leading, and financially liquid organization, ensuring long-term job security and a solid foundation for your career.
  • Clear pathways for professional growth, including access to continuous learning, specialized automotive facility management training, and leadership opportunities.
  • Audit and reconcile workshop "Job Cards" to ensure that the exact spare parts used by mechanics and the corresponding labor hours are accurately billed to the customer before a vehicle leaves the facility.

  • Reconciliation Accuracy & Timeliness: 100% of bank, POS, and cash transactions are reconciled weekly with zero unresolved variances by month-end closing.
  • Tax Compliance Rate: Zero late filings, zero penalties, and 100% accuracy on monthly PAYE, VAT, WHT, and annual corporate income tax submissions.
  • Revenue Documentation Integrity: 100% matching rate between physical/digital operational documents (workshop job cards, equipment delivery notes, car sales agreements) and the accounting ERP software entries.
