Finance Intern
Job summary
We are looking for a disciplined, detail-oriented Finance Intern to manage our accounting and financial records across the company. You will work directly with leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, track transactions, reconcile accounts, monitor expenses, and support sound financial decision-making across all business units.

Responsibilities:
- Manage daily bookkeeping and financial record-keeping.
- Prepare accurate financial statements and internal financial reports.
- Monitor company cash flow and track all inflows and outflows.
- Reconcile bank accounts, payment gateways, transfers, and vendor payments.
- Maintain accounting ledgers and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
- Track revenue performance across hotel bookings, tours, partnerships, and other products.
- Prepare monthly profit and loss reports.
- Monitor operational expenses and flag unusual spending patterns.
- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Maintain payroll accounting records.
- Prepare financial analysis for management decisions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Organise digital finance records for easy audit access.
- Provide financial insight to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Degree or current study in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Close attention to detail.
- Strong analytical thinking.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort working in a startup environment.
- Knowledge of bookkeeping software is an advantage.
- Experience in preparing financial reports is an advantage.
