The Community Development and Reproductive Health Initiative (CODERHI), formerly known as the Reproductive Health Concern Initiative (REHCI), is a non-political, non-religious, non-partisan, and non-profit organization established in October 1999 in Maiduguri, Nigeria. Dedicated to improving community development and reproductive health, CODERHI provides its services through collaborative, supportive, and voluntary efforts. The organization works to promote health, well-being, and development within communities, fostering sustainable impact through partnerships and proactive initiatives.

Role Description

This full-time on-site role of Finance and Administration Officer is based in Maiduguri, Nigeria. The selected candidate will manage the financial and administrative operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and organizational policies. Daily responsibilities include preparing budgets, maintaining financial records, generating financial reports, overseeing reconciliations, and facilitating payroll. The Finance and Administration Officer will also handle office administration, procurement processes, staff coordination, and ensure the smooth operation of facilities and equipment.

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in Financial Management, Budgeting, and Bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency in Financial Reporting, Reconciliations, and Auditing practices.
  • Experience in Office Administration, Procurement, and Facilities Management.
  • Strong skills in Communication, Organization, and Time Management.
  • Familiarity with financial software and tools such as spreadsheets and accounting systems.
  • Knowledge of local financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and manage cross-functional administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • Work experience in non-profit organizations is a valuable asset.
