Warehouse Officer
Job summary
To ensure the effective receipt, storage, handling, stock control, and dispatch of wines, spirits, and related materials within the farm tank warehouse. The role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards, and supporting uninterrupted production and operations.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the receipt, inspection, and proper storage of wines, spirits, raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods within the farm tank warehouse to ensure inventory integrity and product quality.
- Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock counts, reconciliations, and warehouse management systems to minimize stock variances and losses.
- Coordinate the loading and unloading of products and materials, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Ensure proper handling, storage conditions, and stock rotation practices (FIFO/FEFO) to preserve product quality and reduce product deterioration or expiry.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all warehouse transactions, including goods receipts, transfers, dispatches, and inventory adjustments.
- Conduct routine inspections of storage tanks, warehouse facilities, and equipment, reporting any defects or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, Procurement, and Logistics teams to ensure timely availability and movement of materials required for business operations.
- Monitor warehouse housekeeping and enforce compliance with health, safety, environmental, and food/beverage industry regulations.
- Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, damages, losses, and operational issues, recommending corrective actions where necessary.
- Support periodic audits and ensure all warehouse records and processes comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization and material flow processes to improve operational efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Added Advantage:Professional certification in Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Warehouse Operations, or Logistics Management.
- Minimum 3–5 years cognate experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or supply chain management within an FMCG, beverage, wines & spirits, or manufacturing environment.
- Added Advantage:Experience managing tank storage operations, ERP/WMS systems, inventory reconciliation, and compliance with beverage industry quality and safety standards.
