JOB Title — FARM SUPERVISOR (BROILER OPERATIONS)

Location: Ibadan, Oyo State

Salary; N80,000 - N100,000

Employment Type: Full-time

We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Farm Supervisor (Broiler Operations) to oversee daily broiler production activities from brooding to market age. The ideal candidate must be able to meet key production KPIs, enforce strict biosecurity, and ensure smooth farm operations in line with SOPs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee daily broiler production, including brooding, grow-out management, feeding, water monitoring, and ventilation control.

2. Maintain strict biosecurity, PPE usage, visitor control, and ensure animal welfare and safety procedures are followed.

3. Manage vaccination, medication schedules, and conduct daily flock health checks with timely escalation when needed.

4. Track and record daily farm data—mortality, feed/water consumption, temperature/humidity, and weekly weights—to drive performance improvements.

5. Supervise farm workers, allocate tasks, enforce HSE compliance, and ensure smooth 24/7 farm coverage.

6. Coordinate catching, loading, and turnaround activities, ensuring each flock meets KPIs for livability, weight, FCR, and EPEF.

Requirements

1. OND/HND/BSc in Animal Production, Animal Science, Veterinary Technology, or related field.

2. 3–5 years hands-on experience supervising broiler operations (open-sided or controlled environment).

3. Strong knowledge of brooding management, ventilation, stocking density, and poultry production KPIs.

4. Ability to enforce SOPs, keep accurate records, supervise staff, and solve operational issues quickly.

5. Physically fit, willing to live on-site, and comfortable working in fast-paced farm conditions (Yoruba proficiency is an added advantage).
