Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Factory/Production Supervisor to join our team. The Factory/Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing operations within our facility, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in furniture manufacturing

  • Minimum Qualification: Diploma
  • Experience Level: Senior level
  • Experience Length: 10 years

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day manufacturing operations to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Assign tasks to production workers and monitor their performance to ensure productivity and quality standards are maintained.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Train new employees on manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the production planning team to schedule production activities and optimize resource utilization.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and address any maintenance or repair needs.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement measures to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports on key performance indicators such as production output, quality metrics, and inventory levels.
  • Resolve any production-related issues or conflicts that may arise in a timely and effective manner.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement among production staff.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of Diploma in engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience (10 years) working in furniture company, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes, materials, and techniques.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team of production workers.
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and production specifications.
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office and manufacturing software.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
