Job Summary
The Factory HR will be responsible for managing all HR functions within the Sagamu factory, ensuring compliance with HR policies, labor laws, employee relations, and daily factory operations. This role requires someone with strong knowledge of Nigerian Labour Law, extensive factory HR experience, and the ability to manage critical factory Manpower.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian labour laws, factory regulations, and company HR policies.
- Maintain accurate HR records, documentation, employee files, and compliance reports.
- Manage attendance, punctuality monitoring, and timekeeping systems.
Employee Relations & Conflict Management
- Handle disciplinary matters, grievances, escalations, and factory-related conflicts promptly.
- Conduct employee counselling sessions and ensure a stable working environment.
- Serve as a bridge between factory workers and management.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Oversee recruitment for factory staff and technical roles.
- Conduct onboarding, orientation, and proper integration of new employees.
Performance & Workforce Management
- Monitor performance of factory staff and support managers in implementing performance improvement plans.
- Identify workforce gaps and recommend solutions for productivity improvement.
Health, Safety & Welfare
- Work closely with HSE to ensure a safe and compliant factory environment.
- Support in managing injuries, staff welfare, leave management, and health-related issues.
Payroll & Compensation Support
- Collaborate with the finance and HR team for payroll inputs, overtime approvals, and deductions.
- Ensure proper communication of benefits and entitlements to staff.
Training & Development
- Identify training needs, especially for operators, supervisors, and junior staff.
- Coordinate HR-related trainings (discipline, compliance, safety, etc.).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, industrial relations, business admin, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years hands-on HR experience in a factory or manufacturing environment (mandatory).
- Member of CIPM (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of the Nigerian Labour Act and HR compliance.
- Excellent conflict resolution, discipline handling, and employee relations skills.
- Strong communication, documentation, and administrative abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced factory environment.
